Community Scouting Report

It's been a busy but very exciting week for us with Space Marine being shown at E3, there's a pretty nice collection of gameplay and interview footage in this thread over on SpaceMarine.com.  Take a look!

Of course there is still plenty going on here with Dawn of War - here are the latest community updates.  As always, if you'd like a contest, event, map, or mod highlighted here, just send me a message:

GameReplays Open Season Playoffs - A few tie-breakers will be sorted out this Sunday before the top 16 players from this event face off in head to head action.  Stay tuned, there are going to be some great games with some great players!

GROS E Winner interview - DaDokisinX stormed his way to a win in the final event before the playoffs, and the customary winners interview has been posted in which he discusses his opponents, strategy, and more:

"Blaqk:
Edtjuh has proven himself to be a beast of an opponent. I know that many players breathed a sigh of relief when Tex sniped him in the round of 16. Speaking of Tex, he was the only player to take a game off of you in your tear to the finals. How did you feel about that match?

DaDokisinX:
Tex is a very strong 1v1 player; however, I have had recent success in facing him as chaos. I knew that the match would be hard and I would have to be on top of me game to get past his Orkish WAAAGH! For instance, in game two, I hesitated with many commands and ended losing the game to Tex as he punished me for that. Tex is always a great player to face and can beat me any day, but on that day, I was the one who happened to get the best of him.

Blaqk:
Indeed you were, much in the same way that you bested Norni on the way to the finals. What were your immediate thoughts the second that you realized that your opponent would be none other than your loyal 2v2 partner and brother, VindicareX?

DaDokisinX:
As I recall, I was glad that I would face him. If I was going to lose to someone, I was hoping it would be him, because I have been watching at his side as he battled his way to the top in 1v1, and realized that he has a ton of skill. Though I did not think I would flat out lose to him, I was just happy to be in the finals with him, and have some fun in a great battle. After all, we can always share that prize money.
