Avitus
Avitus's greatest weapon is his unmatched hatred for the enemy. He served with Davian Thule during the Dark Crusade, distinguishing himself during the assault against the treasonous Imperial Guard forces in Victory Bay. Many of his squadmates did not survive the fighting, something that forever changed Avitus and prompted vicious retribution. To this day, he sees Guardsmen as traitors and weaklings.
Devastators carry the heavy weapons needed to support Tactical and Assault Marine squads. They are most often found in key positions with good fields of fire to bring their weapons to bear from great range. Overwhelming firepower is what they offer at the expense of manoeuvrability.
Since Victory Bay, Avitus and his squad have wielded their weapons with a new fury. Rarely do they leave any survivors in their wake.
Heavy BolterAstartes MK IVc type Heavy Bolter. Massive weapons with a staggering rate of fire, heavy bolters suppress enemy infantry and cut them down without prejudice. Effective against most targets and light armour.
Plasma CanonPlasma cannons are very powerful heavy weapons, hurling massive bolts of super-heated energy huge distances. They cause heavy damage and large detonations, making them effective against all targets. Their slow rate of fire and long range, mean they are best used at a long range with a forward spotter.
Focused FireGreatly enhance the damage output of any ranged weapon, bringing ruination to the enemy. While using Focus Fire, Avitus enters an extremely focused state and he is unable to be knocked down.
Clear OutSwing equipped weapon in a wide arc, knocking nearby enemies backwards.
